The company was carried on by his wife and eldest son as M & C Higgins with the youngest son Graeme working in the workshop.

In 1981, Graeme took over the business and it was renamed G B Higgins Ltd when he ventured into Car Sales as well as carrying on the MOT’s and car repairs.

Many of the staff have been with Graeme for 10 to 25 years, so many of his customers see a familiar face as they return year after year.
